Working with Zook on our custom log home was an absolute pleasure from the very beginning to the day the build was completed. Matt Albrecht, our project manager, was an invaluable resource in navigating every step of the process. Being an engineer, I had hundreds of questions about every aspect of the structure, and Matt would *always* respond the same day with the information I was looking for. Nights, weekends, holidays – Matt was available to us. He is a true gentleman and is always happy to be helpful to his clients.

As to the cabin itself, it is a perfect little jewel. When it arrived (right on schedule, I might add) it was obvious that every minute detail had been thought through. The building is constructed to very tight tolerances, and aligned perfectly with our foundation attachment points. Our local building inspector commented that of all the modular pre-fab homes he had looked at, the Zook Mountaineer was the sturdiest, highest quality structure he had ever seen.

The setup crew did an amazing job of setting the cabin on our foundation and unfolding the roof segments and making the structure water-tight on the first day. Mike and his crew are true craftsmen, and are very polite and easy to work with. They work from dawn to dusk, rain or shine, their goal being to get you into your custom cabin as soon as possible.

My wife and I are looking forward to living out our retirement in this little dream home.
